Extension Reflection.

This year, it was my first time being in extension. In term 1 I had to find out about the Niuean kings and their past. 1 month past and we sadly went into lockdown, the good thing was we could still see each other on the google meets, I had to go on everyday in the afternoon though.

In term 2 we were still in lockdown but this time I had to go bubble school and go do the normal things I do at normal school. I didn’t get to be with my normal teacher, I had to be with Mrs Tele’a. In term 3 in extension, our group had to work on a polynesian research. The thing that was really hard was practicing our dance every time we went to extension.

This term we have been learning about something that can be in many different ways, like abstract and modern. I really enjoyed being in extension this year and I hope I be at extension next year.

Types of Maori art questions

The Athletic dog and the old fishermen.

Once in the early morning, there was a young dog that was running to the boat just to have fun. The fisherman walked slowly into the boat. As they rowed away the dog saw a stork trying to steal the fish. As the stork stole a fish the dog still tried to bark to pass the bait back for his poor owner who tried to catch at least one fish. When the bird came back he stole another fish and the dog was almost tired of barking because he had so much energy in him. When the dog looks back up he realises that he was grabbing food for his babies. The dog felt so bad for the bird because the babies never wanted no fish  they wanted worms.

Writing - My goals for Term 4

Dear Mrs Sio and Miss west,

I would like to talk about my achievements that I have got this term, like reading, maths and sports i’m better at than last year. But at the same time I would like to get better at doing my writing and art. I would love to get those achievements at the end of Term 4. I think I'm very good at reading and maths but I sometimes wait actually all the time and don't know what to do sadly. Sometimes for writing I only write 1 or 2 paragraphs on my writing. Well thank you for looking at this writing thing.

The Disappearance

The Disappearance - Bermuda Triangle

When everyone in my house was sleeping, me and my hamster were the only one awake. So I decided to do my homework while my hamster can watch tv. I was so focused on my work that I couldn’t get the first question right. I was still staring at the paper then suddenly my hamster found a way to get out of his cage by using the cage key in front of him. My homework was finally finished so I wanted to go feed my hamster, but I just noticed his cage was open and he was gone. I dropped the hamster food and started running in the house. I looked everywhere and I looked in the mirror then I suddenly saw the kitchen cupboard open with something in there chucking food around on the ground. I walked slowly to the cupboard and then my hamster jumped on my face and I fell on the floor. I also squashed all the food. It ran away somewhere else then I ran back to my room on the chair. I gave up, I opened my bag up to put my homework in then I saw a furry little brown thing at the very bottom. As I put my hand through I grabbed it out and it was my little hamster. When I locked him in the cage he was angry.
